North Warwickshire Community Partnership - The Vision and Priorities

"Rural North Warwickshire; a community of communities. A place where people want to live, work and visit, now and in the future, which meets the diverse needs of existing and future residents, is sensitive to the local environment, and contributes to a high quality of life. A place which is safe and inclusive, well planned, built and run, and offers equality of opportunity and good services for all".

Theme aims that contribute to delivering the 2020 North Warwickshire Vision include:

listening to, responding and investing in children, young people and their families
promoting opportunities for all members of the community to play a full part in community life:
- developing and supporting vibrant and active communities and voluntary groups, who are able to express their needs and take steps towards meeting them
- maximising local 'choices, access and transport', to better meet needs within local communities
- developing a range of affordable housing options, including social and private rented and low cost ownership schemes, to meet a range of housing needs
ensuring that people of all ages are provided with the opportunity to obtain the skills, knowledge, confidence and understanding to achieve their full potential
maintaining, protecting and improving the quality of the environment for people living in, working in and visiting the area
tackling health inequalitites by supporting local communities by improving accessibility and raising awareness so that individuals can make informed choices about their health
contributing towards ensuring that North Warwickshire economy is healthy, diverse and able to adapt to changes in the wider economy while remaining relevant to the needs of local people making North Warwickshire a safer place to live, work and enjoy where the fear of crime is low
